What does everyone use to get coralline algae off the front of their glass? Mine is starting to grow like mad and my magnetic glass scraper does not take it off.

I use a stainless steel straight edged razor. Works very good. Just be careful not to scrape the silicone in the tank!!!

I got mine at walmart, very inexpensive. :D

You can also buy one with a metal blade, the plastic one is for acrylic.

I use a razor blade.
My hubby made me a handle by cutting a slit on a wooden dowel. The slit is on the side of the dowel cut at a slant.
When the razor blade gets rusty I just replace it.

I use the Kent scraper with the plastic blade on our glass tank. It works great and does actually get the crap out of old scratches like it claims.

Belive it or not a credit card type of plastic card will work wonders without the fear of splitting a seam.

Kent scraper works best. I use to use a old credit card or razor blade, but too hard on the hands!
