Thanks to all the people who entered their tank into the December nTOTM competition. Now the crowd will decide who's the winner for this month!

This month we had less entrants, so all 7 entries are up for voting!

The tank owners will post up more info and photos of their tank for your consideration. PM's have gone out to all entrants, so the info should be up soon.

The poll is open for 14 days.

Who shall be the winner?

Pleaes be patient, I have just sent the PM out to all the entrants, and they should be posting a short write up of their tank shortly :) You do have 14 days to ponder who you wish to vote for!

However, if patience has never been one of your virtues, you can visit this thread:
http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=977276

You can see photos there, but there are no write up, specs, history etc.

Well, heres my 29 gallon tank!

Its been up for a little over 2 years, and has been a reef for less than half of that. After a short time with softies I fell in love with SPS, and have sucessfully been keeping them since the early summer.

As of now i have onyl a few SPS, which include:
Porites
A few Different Digitatas
A small green slimer
A purple brush gorgonian(been there for almost a year, got it for free from a CTARS member)
A green birdsnest
A small green w/ purple rim cap frag

I get steady growth from everything, and they are starting to encrust over their plugs and move onto my rock

Filtration is a 3 gallon HOB fuge stuffed with cheato, rubble and a bag of carbon in there, soon it will be a new 12 gallon fuge, that will stand behind my tank, with the same HOB concept. I do not run a skimmer, and have 0 nitrates, though as my SPS grow i may do a DIY skimmer.

Lighting is 1x150W HQI, and 1x65 watt actinics, 4x3/4 watt blue moonlights

Flow is provided by a Tunze 6025 nano version, and the flow running off from my fuge.

Now for the pics:

Here's my 24 gallon nanocube

I set it up in April so I'm still kind of a newbie at this. I have a nice mix of Softies & LPS right now but plan on getting a 12 gallon for my LPS and turning this into a softie tank in the future.

Here's a full tank shot:

Here is my tank. It is a 24g Aquapod with a 150w Sunpod MH w/14k bulb. It has been setup since the end of July, and is going strong! I have no idea how much LR I have, but it is my only filtration besides a sponge place in the overflow. Thanks for looking!

No offense to anyone of the others who haven't posted that are a part of this, but I think you've got some incredibly stiff competition with Victoria's tank. Just awesome...

Here's my tank again; it's a 25 gal that was converted from a 30 (total water volume is 30). It's a little over a year old now; the reef has been accumulating since March '06. The current setup is skimmerless and works only on biological filtration. The only equipment I have is a heater, PC light, pump with plumbing for circulation. I like to keep things simple. Here it is.
