Is this aquarium good for beginners?

I know someone that wants to get a tank for their daughter for Christmas and I convinced them to go with saltwater lol.
Anyway, I told them the 24 gallon aquapod should be a good beginner tank, I did say bigger is better but they also said they didn't want to go saltwater because of money, and I told them the aquapod can be pretty cheap.
Is the 24 gallon aquapod a good beginner tank?

i think it is im a beginner and started with a 24g ap was gonna only be FOWLR. but is now starting to turn into a reef tank :) my tank has been up 6 months now and doing great. i learned alot from this site. i dont run a skimmer or fuge and i do 2g water change every saturday.
