pretty basic set up. about 25 pounds of Fiji LR. 10g sump with an ASM Mini G skimmer. i have a phosphate reactor and run Phosban, although i will eventually switch over to PHOSaR. i also run carbon in a media bag located in the sump.
lots of flow. i have a Mag 5 for my return, two MJ 1200s in the display and a MiniJet 404 which keeps the back of the tank pretty clean.
right now i am using a Reeflux 12k, although my magnetic ballast burns the bulb a little whiter than i prefer.
thanks for all the compliments!!!!

the hydno was much bigger a few months ago. about the size of a baseball but the stress of converting from a SB to BB caused it to STN so i ended up fragging the tips.
interestingly enough for the first time the other day i noticed the hydno trap some food with it's polyps and it looked like it ate it. i started observing the hydno very carefully and it seems to have little "mouths" inbetween the rows of polyps. does anyone know if hydnophora's eat food like this or am i seeing things?????

very easy to make. just some egg crate, super glue gel and some silicone (which is not necessary). took about 15 minutes
