My AP is consistently running aroun 82-83 when the lights are on. I recently switched to a Maxi-jet 900 thinking maybe it would run cooler...didnt really help much, althought the flow is awesome. I understand the lights are the major heat factor...i leave my feeder lid open when they are on the help disapate some of the heat, but it doesnt seem to really do much. Do I have any other options besides installing a fan. And if not, what kind of fan, how do i install, and where can i find one.

anyone else experiencing this kind of problem?

Try placing a fan near the tank, or blowing directly at it. that m
might help.

You can also try running the AC in the house cooler, or place tha tank near the AC vent.

hmm...i have a ceiling fan about 5 feet above it, and a few feet over from directly on top of it.

i'm more or less wondering if i'm the only one running hot w/ my AP or if this is a common problem?

Ceiling fan is good, but you need more to stimulate evaporative cooling or some other sort of cooling.

Wal mart $6.89 fans always help!
