How big are the back sections on the NC?

On a tank less than 20 gallons you dont need a skimmer. Just do weekly or biweekly water changes. You could find a skimmer to fit but if you can go without it, why not.

I will use the skimmer as the sole source for my filtration and circulation.

I tried to put a Fission nano skimmer in my 6g JBJ nano and the lid would not close. The water level it wants its higher than the tank will allow. I heard they're basically worthless anyway. Of course, that was after I already bought it!

Sorry, but I'm not sure about the nanoremora though.

So far, I'm having a blast with my 6g nano that sits on my desk at work! A nice distraction in stressful times!
