I'm not sure about this but it seems that my clown has Ich . I noticed small tiny white dots on its fins today and was wondering what are my options...

I was going to go to the LFS today to purchase a commercial brand Ich remover but I heard about mixing garlic with the food it eats. My questions are...

-What kind of garlic? (Does normal household garlic work?)
-How much garlic?
-How do I mix it?

just normal garlic from the grocery store. one piece mashed up and mix up with some food. or go get garlic extreme from kent marine and dip food in this.

but all of these remedies are temporary. it will not cure or exterminate the parasite. you need to setup a quaratine tank and do the hyposalinity or copper treatment.

I've been looking around google searches for commercial brand ich removers. So far i've found these 2, I was just wondering if there as effective as the description says they are...

-Maracide
-Kordon Malachite Green

I think the first one is only for FW use so is the second one good to use?
