Mexican Rock

Just went scuba diving in mexico and i wonder why there isnt mexican live rock on the market? it looks as good as any fiji i have seen... although from what i have heard fiji's reefs are really suffering because of the aquarium hobby and it would suck to see that happen to those reefs too.

I think that DIY rock seeded from Live Rock is the future of our reef tanks

brazilian rock is my fav so far ---I 've only seen it sold here locally ironically at the worst pet store in the area

well , let me tell u why, in mexico if they see u taking some rock or sand its a federal crime against nature , so if ur planing to take some, save in ur pocket 5000dllrs and tell ur family ur gonna be taking all of ur vacations...in jail

It does seem odd that with the rampant corruption in Mexico, none of the big timers have decided to pay the piper and mine their rocks.
They could use NAFTA truck drivers instead of airplanes. Ha
Maybe when they are done with Haiti. :)
