ok well, I really need to angle my mjmod but I need some material ideas as to how can I make an arm/swivel.

I figure that if I have a magnet or even use the existing maxijet holder (the one that goes over the tank), I can cut the mj holder piece and glue it to an arm or swevil and maybe make it move 45 degrees or less.

That will solve that angling (especially in a small 46g tank)part but at the same time I need it to be able to hold the ?? lbs. of force from the modded mj.

I went to HD and all I get is a blank look. I hope I have better luck here and understand what I'm trying to accomplished.

any ideas will be very, very appreciated.

Make some arms out of 1/4" acrylic. Should be plenty strong.

Something like this? You could use a plastic 'wing nut' to adjust the angle.

oh man, I shoud've checked this thread 10 min ago.
I ordered a bunch of stuff from us plastics but this is much, much simplier than what I have in mind.

luckily one of the things was a 1/2 nylon bolt and and a 1/2" plastic wing nut. among the 1/4" acrylic sheets

thanks a bunch guys, I appreciate the help

now I just have to find a way on how can I use my neodymium magnets.

Bummer!

I like US Plastics, most anything I order arrives the very next day. They're not far from me that's why. It's convenient.
