I would try dampening a small section and try to let it sit. The glue most likely has dried out and that is your problem. Heating with a blowdrier while it's damp may also help, come to think of it that may work all by it's self. If all else fails i am sure that rubbing alochol would work. I'll see if I can think of anything else.

Don't try using rubbing alcohol! Alcohol can cause acrylic to crack. I have seen it happen before.

Vinegar might help... At least I know that it won't hurt.

Is this on the inside or outside of the tank? If it is on the outside, I would think that a wet rag should take the goo-gone off alright... Haven't really dealt with that stuff before so I don't know.

It works great on all sticky stuff, made from citrus oil.......

Im making parts for shelfs to go in my prop tank.

Ill just take it in a hot shower it should be good. I think.
