Has anyone used these?
JBJ Dual Output Powerhead (http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=JBJ-SP-2500&Category_Code=JBJpowerhead)
Seems really cheap, practically disposable for that price. Are they any good?

Sorry, I meant to post this in the equipment forum.
Its a powerful pump! but they do generate more heat than the Mj mod I had before that, super pump for the price IMO

How large are the pumps compared to a Maxijet?
I'd say about twice the size

Also what's the wattage rating on that if you don't mind? :D
I am assuming that you have the larger model SP-2500 (530gph)

I have one that I use for mixing water for water changes. If it's not mounted perfectly vertical inside the bucket it makes a ton of noise. A decent pump, but not my first choice.

i have 2 of these they are quiet and use comparable watts to a maxijet..only bad thing are the suction cups. they are bad and impossible to find..other then that a good pump had them both for over a year no problems...just went to magnet mounts..bpatrol
