I've decided to keep up with my "fish geek" ways and move my 90 gallon BB setup into the wall. With the help of postalj and his expert craftsmanship, the construction was essentially complete in one day. The first 2 pics show my current setup. The camera is quite old and terrible, but you still get the idea.

The location was really the only option. I have a finished basement with a small area that was left unfinished. That area leads to the garage. So, since that was basically used solely for storage, the decision was quite simple.

This picture shows the unfinished area. You can also see the 75 gallon tank that I turned into a sump to replace the sump that the current tank sits on.

After a few hours, this is what it looked like.

The stand...also a safe refuge when the next tornado strikes Connecticut.

Now all that's left is finding the time to actually move the tank. With this new project, I have a canopy and sump/stand for sale. The entire thing is made out of red oak (paneling included). The canopy sat atop my 90. However, it does not house any lights. I used another canopy for my lights...this fixture is easy to move on and off. The sump is a unique size because I bought it as a custom made job. It is retro'd to fit any 4 foot length tank. It is made out of acrylic and I also placed acrylic along the top. It is baffled into three areas. The bottom of the baffles have slits which allow the water to pass through. The picture sort of shows what I mean. I have had no issues with microbubbles. The overflow is on the left, skimmer in the middle and return/fuge on the left. Anyways, I am looking to sell this if anyone is interested. I don't have the exact dimensions right now but can simply get them if anyone is interested. The sump is roughly 28" wide and holds about 35 gallons of water up to the hole that I was forced to drill in it.
