View Full Version : My home made Cabinet for Oceanic 58 gal L@@K !!!!

I bought an oceanic 58 gal tank and made a custom made stand for it... It ended up costing a lot more in parts than I had expected but It turned out very nice! take a look at the pictures and let me know what you guys think!

Not to bad for my first time ever building something out of wood... lol. Great learning experience.... unfortunatly though, the tank and stand are for sale because I decided to go with a 75gal flat back hex tank....

I like what you did there; especially the white inside. Thought about doing that too. It is a shame that you are going to sell it but hey, you can do one for your 75 Gallon set up too and use what you learned on this one.

The new tank I got is acrylic, and it already came with a black acrylic stand and canopy... I just got to figure out how to plumb a sump to it and I should get it running soon. Im actually about to post soon the pix of the new tank so hopefully someone can help me plan a way to plumb it (it has a built in filtration on the back but not enough room for my skimmer) :rolleye1:
