Yesterday i receive my acrylic baffles a friend cut it for me.
when i try to install them i cant couse its has an excess of 2 mil wide and dont fit the inner part of my 30 gal sump.

The question is, whats the best way to reduce de excess?
sanding? any other method? Let me know please.

If you only need to trim them 2 mill, then sanding would probably be your best best. Trying to cut that small an amount may result in chipping.

You can slowly route off the excess against a fence/router.

ive taken small amounts like that off with my table saw with no problems. depending on the blade there might be very small chipping but if you are going to silicone the baffles into the sump it is really inconsequential.

Router works nicely with fence or pattern bit and a guide.
