Hi... I've few Ques.

If Compare between Weldon and Silicone for joining acrylic.

Which one better and stronger??

I use for build a skimmer.Can I use Silicone joining??

Definatly use weldon.

Silicone only holds it together while weldon "welds" it into one piece making it much stronger and leak proof.

Silicone doesnt even stick to acrylic all that well.

If on the edge for joining has a little gap weldon can be cover these gap ? :confused:

I have the same question on "welding" the acrylics together. Do I need to sand the acrylic to make it perfectly smooth or just join small imperfections of the finish with weldon?
