Whats the max. size i should expect out of these? 3" about right?

aggressive towards each other? or in general?

Aggressive in general. Once they reach a certain size. I had a school of 5 in an old tank. After about 6 months, all but one changed color to a very dull grey/ blue color. I believe they changed sex, but the biggest became the leader. All of them were semi aggressive. But the leader of the pack bullied everyone.

I got 3 and lost one within a month due to bullying. Wondering when I'll lose the second. I haven't been that thrilled with them. They spend most of their time chasing each other through my rockwork. I was hoping for them to be open water swimmers.
