View Full Version : Mixing salt OK?

This may be a dumb question but here goes. I recently started using Reef Crystals. I have about 10 LBS of Oceanic salt left. Any reason that I should not just dump the Oceanic in with the 50 LBS of Reef Crystals? Thanks.

There shouldn't be any problems. They contain the same chemicals, but RC contains a greater variety of chemicals.

ya its fine. For example many people mix IO and Oceanic...oceanic is high in calcium and IO is quite low. So by mixing them you get a pretty good result.
