I've had my true perc for 3 years now, several different tanks. Moved him into a 90 gallon in August, along with a new juvenile blue tang.

All has been well, except the tang has decided to get a bit agressive and has been chasing the clown into the conch shell that he hosts in - so badly that I have not seen him come out for 3 days.

Any suggestions? I recently purchased a bubble tip anemone - hoping the clown would host in it - no luck yet.

Should I move the conch shell so the entrance is near the anemone - in hopes that he'll come out of the shell & have a protected place to be out & about?

I'm concerned he's not getting enough food - trying to target feed, but getting worried.

are you sure he is still in the shell?

Yes, he's in there. I can see him.

try putting a piece of shrimp or food or something outside of the shell to try and lure him out.
