Over the past month I found 2 of these, this one being the smaller of the 2. The first one I found rasping coralline algae. I pulled him and tossed it into my sump. A few weeks later I notice one of my live rocks about the size of a softball was completely stripped of coralline algae. Yesterday I found the second one. I’m still watching hoping I don’t see anymore. Does anyone know what it is and aside from eating coralline is it bad? Thanks!

Possibly a mitra species, of which little is known of their diets. Something to keep an eye on or remove if it remains an "unknown".
