I have a new 29g tank that should be pretty well cycled.
The glass is COVERED in tiny baby snails that appear to be of various species ranging in size from a pin head to the head of a framing brad. I can count over 65 at any given time. They appear to be eating a brown and green algae on the glass. I would normally mag-flat that stuff off but I don't want to hurt the babies! Has anyone got any advice on or experience with this?

Can you take a picture?

If not, it sounds like you have collonista snails. They breed like rabbits.

Best of luck,

Roy

Yes, without a picture we won't be able to help you.

I've had many species of snails breed in my tank before, if you get the right kind of snail then they can reproduce well.
