sorry i dont have a pic but ill do my best to describe it.....
its a green color over all, i have seen it stretched from its hiding place to over 1 foot.
the main "body" is thin and is a translucent green color.
it is not segmented and there are no legs or appendages.
the head is a cresent or U shaped and takes up detritus and other food items which are then passed down the translucent "body".
i have only seen it at night and it retracts when i turn the lights on or shine a flashlight on it.
it has also relocated its"home base" as best as i can figure out so im thinking its not a tube worm. there is no obvious structure i can see being constructed by the worm.
i have looked at as many "hitch hiker" photos as i could find and have seen nothing like it. anyone have any ideas? im about to do a "red bug" treatment and am debating dismantling my rockwork to save it.
