This Coris Wrasse looked like he was getting a little cramped in my 54, so I decided to give him a new home. Nothing spectacular, but I managed to get a few fleeting pics of him. I put him in at night. His tankmates didn't take to kindly to him when he leaped out of the sand the next morning:eek: !

That wrasse isn't the only nice thing in your tank. Very nice indeed!

You have a beautiful tank. A lot of color and everything looks very healthy. Keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone. When I set up this 90, I had visions of a larger fish, like maybe a Hippo Tang. But after seeing my female clown and this yellow wrasse, I think adding anything larger would be a bit too much. I really prefer a moderate bio-load anyway. The simple fact of the matter is, a 90g tank really isn't all that big.

As for the corals, I've recently switched over from B-Ionic to Randy's Two Part Recipe #1. I use ~ 80 ml a day. That coupled with bi-weekly water changes and everything seems fine. The DIY 2 part additives involve some "baking and shaking." But it's a whole lot cheaper over the long haul, so worth the little extra effort to me. It's part of my exercise routine:p . Thanks again for the complements.

John "grouper25" - Most folks actually paint the back of their tanks. I cheated a bit and used a waterproof vinyl adhesive by OceanVisions (http://www.thatpetplace.com/Products/KW/F05CX/Class/Aquarium+Backgrounds+Photos+Stick+On/T1/F05CX+0413+0014/EDP/40504/Itemdy00.aspx).

The color is one solid color called "Deep Ocean Blue." It also comes in black. The effect you see on the background is the reflection from my lights and surface waves. It happens with the MH, T5's and even the moonlights. I used my Kent plastic algae scraper to smooth out the air pockets while I was applying it. In the event I ever decide to sell my tank, I think it will be a little less problematic to remove. I'm pleased with it and have intentionally been keeping the coralline algae off the back glass just to keep it visible.
