what are the live rock and live sand ratios to tank size. i have a 26 gallon.

a lb per gallon of rock and how ever much sand you want. If you go deep sand bed you will need 4"+ In a smaller tank that will take up a lot of room.

If you don't keep a deep bed keep it around an inch in depth.

totally depends what your planning to keep. if you get more specific, so can we. In general:

I suggest at least 20 lbs of rock. Preferably btn 30-40lbs (or more if it will fit/you can afford it).

I suggest a very SHALLOW sandbed (no deeper than 1/2", unless your keeping gobies or other sand dwelling inhabitants...which in that case Id suggest about 2" sandbed.

It is normally suggested that in small tanks deep sandbeds are BAD. By deep we're talking about 3" and above.
