Hey guys,

I'm thinking I'm in need of a Phos Reactor. After 3 months of tap water .. my phosphate level is about 0.20 and I have recently started using an RO-DI unit.

I have started having a small problem with red slime/hair algae and figured a phosphate reactor would help.

What Brand, Pump media combinations have you had luck with?

I like using Rowa-phos for the media. The reactor does not really matter, they are all the same. I think I have the two little fishies reactor. It works well. I also keep the rowa-phos in a bag and place that bag in the reactor. Rowa-phos is small grained stuff

I just have a small 80-90gph pump.

I started reading about Rowa-Phos and was impressed. I had a small red hair algae spot on the sand bed and it got rid of it. I also have a heavily stocked sps tank and did not want to have any phosphates in the system.
