Can someone go the link below and look at the pictures? Two pictures are of hard coral that I have not been able to identify. One is of some stuff on the glass that looks like eggs ... know what it is?

dont know the first one, and i think the second one is a chrismas tree rock..type that in on liveaquaria's search, i think they got them. The third one, i cant see anything, but if they're just scattered everywhere...look closer, and if they move then they're pods. But snails (and others) usually lay eggs in a pattern, so thas something to consider..

The only thing on Liveaquaria was Christmas Tree Coral from Indonesia and it is not the same thing. This rock came from TBS.

k heres a christmas tree coral...to me, that one looks like its got the same encrusting type thing on the rock with that same pattern in it...just not actually christmas trees like shown in this pic. But i have seen them without any of the trees...i guess they die off or something.

Just to give you some dimensions -- the coral is about 8 inches high and Richard said it was 17 years old. Do you know what the other one is -- the tree looking coral? The eggs are being nibbled on by various occupants of the tank but not for long. Evidently no one thinks they taste that great! I know I have gorgonians and tube coral but that's as far as I have been able to go. I bought a book but it didn't help -- guess there are more corals than books!

Christmas Tree Worms normally are found within Porites. But, they don't look like porites. The calices are too big. They could be a number of things.
