was looking to buy a shrimp, blenny and goby. I know quarantine b4 introduction in tank is best. but should i quarantine? dont they need hiding places (sand) and live algae? which my quarantine wil not provide...

I bought a goby when I first got into the hobby, did not QT cause I was under the impression that gobies are ich resistant. Well, the goby was but other fish in my tank at the time weren't, and it was a long, long wait while everybody got hospitalized for ich.

Are blennies ich resistant too? How about blue knuckle hermit crab? and the snails?

The way it was explained to me, the sand dwelling fish, ones that tend to crawl around on their bellies vs. swimming around the water column, tend to be more ich resistant. But this isn't a guarentee, I know that dragonettes are more resistant than let's say a Regal Tang. but resistant does not meen "proof", I've seen a neon goby with ich before.
