Ill try to describe it... I just was wondering what it ate and what do they call it?
Huge snail digs into the sand and has a tentical that sticks out of the sand.. Guess thats it let me know thanks

i would guess at a Nassarius snail of some type. impossible to tell with out a pic.

If it does then yes it is a Nassarius snail and they eat meaty foods that make it to the sand bed.

yeah but the snail is red. What do suggest for meaty foods? Im new. I picked one up because it just looked cool.

Never seen a Red one before. If it is a Nassarius snail like mine then it would probably eat Formula One Pellets. Mine go nuts over those.
