skimmer stopped making bubbles

I have a Coralife Super Skimmer w/needle wheel pump that stopped making bubbles. The chamber fills with water but no bubble production at all! Does this have something to do with the airline? (i.e., could it be clogged)? I took the pump apart and cleaned it but that didn't help.

I will bet the venturi is clogged with salt.

Your Air intake must be blocked, prolly full of salt.

Ok I will check that tonight...how do you clean it though?

On a CSS make sure the air line is plugged in to the right port on the silencer thingy.

Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. The air intake was full of salt like stated above. I just took it off and did a nice cleaning to the tube and the powerhead. It works fine now. Good luck.
