Hi, just got a crocea clam I think it is? I put it in the sand bed in front where there is more light, next day it was on its side, I put it upright, next day it moved toward the rock in the back, less light but its not on its side. Should I leave it how it is with less light or what? Will clams move where they want to be? Otherwise I will move it back to where there is more light.

Pictures would be cery helpful but I would say in general if the clam is opening up correctly you shouldn't move it. In general croceas need lots of light.

Actually, moved it from the sand bed onto a high rock, as people on liveaquaria and someone in my area said these clams like to sit in rocks. Here are some pictures.
When I moved it to the rock, the blue part did come out, but the white peice underneath is off totally.

Where it was before then moved by a rock on the bottom to the shade so I moved it to that upper picture.

Yeah, the bottom picture looks too shaded for the clam. The bottom picture is how the clam should look becuase it more open. has it been opening like it is in the bottom picture? what kind of lights are you using?
