I have a 15H tank with a Hippocampus erectus and about 10lbs of liverock, and a severe hydroid problem. They like the front side of the tank the most.
There are about 3 per square inch. I picked up some Joe's Juice, it only works if I individually squirt each one so siphoning is easier. I tried a pep. shrimp, he didn't eat them.
The reason I'm concerned is that sometimes the seahorse rubs against the sides, and a few days ago one was actually on him. The tank has been set up for a month -prior to that it was a 10 gallon, I just took everything from the 10 and stuck it in the 15.
