My tank has TONS of sundial snails and I take them out but I literally have 100s and 100s and 100s... Anyway I have no more zoanthids obviously... lol but my question is do these snails eat anyt other corals or anything?

Set a trap, get a decent zoa colony, place it in, give it some time. all the snails congregate for food, get it out and dip.

Unless you like them and aren't opposed to them eating zoas you try to put in. Personal preference my friend. That 30 dollars for a meal, is usually something I reserve for my wife, not snails :P

As far as I know thats there main stay diet.

Are you sure that you have them? There is a very similar looking snail that is an algae grazer. Can you post a picture?

I can't remember the exact name of the other snail right now, but they could be confused, and if you have this many I suspect you have the beneficial algae eater.

Just found a link - these are the common, harmless, algae eating version:

Not sundials snails but look a whole lot like them (http://www.reefs.org/hhfaq/pages/picture_pages/faq_tinyturbo.html)

Both type of snails are posted on this link.

Ophiuroid's snail is a collonista.

Once you have had the opportunity to see a real collonista and real sundial, you could never confuse the two.

Collonista's are harmless little algae eaters that breed like rabbits. Sundials can get much bigger in size.

Best of luck,
