I was curious if I would be able to keep a clam with my lighting. I have a standard 29 gal with 2x75 watt VHO's and 2x65 watts power compacts.
Would this be enough lighting to keep any clam alive?

Thanks

A Tridacna derasa or T. squamosa should do fine with that lighting. Eventually either species will outgrow a 29 gallon aquarium. If you place them on rock so that they are closer to the light, that is better. Be sure to keep the nutritional needs of the clam in mind also (Phytoplankton). There is a forum all about clams that you may want to check out.
