as the title say i just took the plunge into making my fowlr a reef i need 4 96watt bulbs, wheer is a fair priced site to get them?? thanks

If it's only FOWLR then all you need to do really is find enough lighting to light the tank. Not supply things with energy.

he said he's going from fowlr to reef... But check those ones that bertoni said, and also check hellolights.com. They often have light sales. I guess that on memorial day every year they have a $10 per bulb sale which i missed this year :( DONT however go to ebay and get the ones from the guy who says something like "we will not be undersold" or something like that. The brand is iridius and i made the mistake of buying them because they came out to only 15 bucks a bulb. They were brand new. On the first day only 2 of them even fired up all the way (the other 2 would kinda be half on...like not full power) a week later, the 2 that worked were still working, but then the other 2 completely died out. It had nothing to do with the fixture. I tested it and put the other bulbs in the 2 sockets that burned the 2 out...they're still going. So its a bad brand. I fell in because of all the positive feedback he's got :(

ok, i am trying to keep it under 100 for all 4 bulbs and it is very hard lol

30 bucks a bulb is pretty much the cheapest you're gonna find it unless you buy the crap ones on ebay or run into those "once a year sales" With shipping you're gonna be looking at roughly 105 (no tax unless its shipping from your state)

ya i live in canada so i have to convert it to canadian and then it gets taxed for going over the border, any canadain reefers here know of any canadian online stores

check out J&L aquatics over in BC i usually get my drygoods from them

also check out www.aquariumpros.ca not as big as RC community wise but more local reefers

Look on E-Bay you there lots of good deals. Try this Item number: 220025998990 you can get HM,PC and any lights you wount.

the cheapest i have found my PC lights is from marineandreef.com...and believe me..i searched..lol...all 4 were just around $100
