I am right behind you. I would be happy with that progress. And the lfs's keep telling me that "You will never be able to do it that slowly" but here you are doing it just fine. I knew it could be done.

Keep on trucking!

good job at keeping away from dumping stuff in. You might want to try and create more spaces for fish to hide in but everything looks ok. Looks like you're on your way to being broke. ::thumbs::

no pictures of the sump?

Very nice work so far, but if your using the emporer 400 for just flow then I would take them out. Add some maxi-jet 1200s and point them upwards to create surface aggitation.

If you get rid of some of the bigger bulky equipment then you would be gold!

I'll have pics of the refuge when I get it Installed and the hob's will be gone!!
Ek9vbI as far as flow goes I've got 1 JBJ 2500 running right now but when I put the refuge in I'll be running 2 JBJ 2500's and a Mag 7 return I don't think flow should be an issue. lol

The damsels may look cute now, but they look a whole lot different when their tearing up the fins of a nice expensive fish.

Then they really look great when their zooming around the rocks, laughing at the human trying to catch them with a net. LOL!!!

By the way your tank looks great!!!

Good Luck!!!

We do like them!

Depends on what fish you'll be adding later on. What do you have in so far, 2 dominos, 2 yellowtails and 2 clowns? The damsels will grow up and stake out their territories. The problems will come with what you add later on. Any somewhat slow moving fish that will swim around the middle of the tank will get seriously harassed.

Happend to me when I added my clownfish to my tank that already had damsels in it. I was about to take out one or two of my damself, but my clownfish got protection in the form of a BTA and are doing well now ;).

If you were to add something like a goby, I bet it would do fine because of its swimming area. Just consider what you might want to add later on. Before you fully stock the tank with more rock, corals, etc, and it becomes impossible to catch the damsels ;). Good luck!
