My 27 Gallon Reef is Boiling over! I thinks it's too small for a chiller and I don't have Air conditioning because it's never really that ot here in Vancouver, Canada. I've tried filling Ziploc bags full with water and freezing them and then placing them in the tankbut it only drops the temperature about 2-3 degreesm, then it raises agagin after a short while. ANY help would be greatly appreciated on what to do!

Thanks, Alan

First of all, whats causing all the heat? If its your lighting what kind of lighting is it? how tight is your canopy? Do you have fans in the hood?

The temperature varies from 79 yo 84! YAAA!
The lighting isn't hot enough to heat the water.

a maximum temp of 84 isnt alarmingly high. If your fish/corals look good, i wouldnt worry

Those temps are perfectly acceptable, and the 79* could even be considered a little low.
