will all triggers totally destroy live rock? With the exception of the Niger trigger? I just wanted to know because my lfs has a nice Undulated trigger that I was interested in.

Well it will destroy you're clean up critters! Which means algae for your rocks, but it won't chew it to pieces if that is what you are worried about. The only trigger I have seen do that is a queen - and even that one only took tiny bites...

The Xanthichthys genus (bluejaw, crosshatch, sargassum) and Melichthys genus (pinktail, black durgon) triggers will mostly leave LR, and often even clean-up crews alone.

Regarding the undulated trigger: They are best kept if they are the only fish in the tank or if you have a FREAKIN huge tank. And buy huge I mean in the area of a few hundred gallons.

They are about as mean as fish get and generally don't accept anything else in the tank even if added last.

Just something to think about if you have other fish in the tank or want other fish in the tank.
