OMFG!!! I just picked through a box for Cathy and I found ALL KINDS OF LIFE!!! That rock was teeming with stuff! There appeared to be some pretty nice corals that could rebound! Lots of peanut worms, bristle worms, a bunch of dead crabs of all types. Lots of shrimp (some dead) algaes some porites. And low and behold, amongst the rubble in the bottom... a green mantis! Hes is a cup presently getting his breath back and trying to shake off the cobwebs. I opened that box and they did a reat job packing it. Everything was individually wrapped in wet newspaper (except for the rubble) and finally in a plastic bag. Some of the boxes were still dripping water when I moved them to the house. All I can say is a big THANK YOU to Dave at Kermit's!!! Fantastic shapes! Nice color! Lots of corals visible!

I tried to PM you but your mailbox is full. I am glad to hear the rock is looking so good. I was wondering if I made it in enough time for the order and if so how much do I owe for 1/2 a box and when and how can my father pick it up for me. Thanks

Was it you and Cathy that split a box or her and Dirtball? I'm not sure. Since Ihaven't heard from him I guess it will be you that gets the other half. I have the price. Its $95.34 for your half. I currently have the rock sitting in a large tub with some other rock getting a nice bath. You will need to have someone pick it up tomorrow at my house. I'll give directions.
Oh and just some extra FYI... I found a dead Linka in the paper! So theres bound to be some interesting findings on this rock in the near future. I told Steve to post if he finds anything when he digs through his boxes.

I was not lucky enough to find any live creatures, but I had more dead crabs then I could count. The boxes are full of some really nice size pieces, I had one coral head that must have weighed 10 pounds. There is a good deal of various shapes that is going to make some good aquascaping.

I cant wait to get it cured and in the tank to see what really comes back.

I found about a 4 inch worm that I thought was dead but threw him in the tank to see. He's moving.

Hope he's a good worm. He's moving slow enough that I can fish him out if I need to. But worms are harmless usually aren't they?

He looks almost like a regular earthworn ... not a bristle worm look.

That's strange, my rock was wrapped in $100.00 bills.

That's what happens when we let Dave get the rock first. He snagged all the rock with the $100 bills on them!!!! I'm sure that was supposed to be in my box.

And before anyone asks...yes that is my 225. I broke the tank down a few days ago and have kind of started over.
