I was thinking of haveing a custom tank built, but then i thought why can't I do this myself! How haard can it realy be?
What is your opinion!

Why do people climb mountains?Build Build Build, its not hard,oh! how big? glass or acrylic?. and the guy at the glass shop says ''you wanna do what??'' if you go glass really look into the starfire

when you spell the word "having" with an "e", "hard" with 2 "a"'s, and forget an "l" in the word "really", maybe you should think twice about building some thnig that holds water!:lol:

Right because everyone knows that flawless spelling and typing skills are a must for tank building. Heh heh heh

Thanks for sticking up for me ambaratur. I did not know this was spelling/grammer class. But next time I need some consulting on those subjects I will be sur to track you down chrismunn!!! I hope everthing looks good on this post for you.

Also is there any specific silicone I should use. The tank would be 24x18x24 with an outside overflow 22x4x8 with euro bracing. So any suggestions would help! thanks.

all glass aquariums makes a silicone you can use. you cant use just any silicone like i once thought. has to "aquarium" silicone. personally i dont see the difference between that and 100% rtv silicone rubber calking?
oh, and you forgot the "e" at the end of the word "sure":lol: < that little face doesnt do justice to how hard i am actually laughing right now > :lol:

no it doesnt have to be aquarium silicone... you can use GE silicone II for doors and Windows as long as it doesnt have that bio-seal anti fungus crap...
