Well, we got the new tank in yesturday and will be plumbing it today. It is huge!!

We would like to invite everyone to our house on Saturday October 7th. We will be having it at 1:00. We will have BBQ pulled pork sandwiches for everyone so bring your appetite.

We have not yet come up with topics for the meeting so any suggestions are welcome. Please RSVP when you can! Hope to see you there!!

Wow! How exciting. I am planning to attend, but will confirm closer to 10/7. It's crazy around here right now, so hopefully we will be in a more calm mode then.

I still have the clove polyps for you and Mike.

suggestion for topic (this or another meeting)
what about quarantine or dipping techniques (something we should all do but almost never)

Good idea for a topic. I agree, something I would like to know more about and I would also like to know how often this is done by everyone.

Welp Im gonna have to miss this one, My work week is crazy and I woulnt be finished in time to make it, if something changes I shall let ya guys know :D

Well I thought I wouldn't be able to attend because of FSU football, but I think we play tomorrow night so I should be able to be there.

Anyone who is attending...I need to purchase some used powerheads, pumps, lightbulbs (used ones that you've replaced but still work some), cleaning magnets etc. If you have any to sell cheap, pm me so I know what I need to bring ahead of time. Thx!

Can't wait to see the setup Reefer. I'm going to TRY (not that it will ever happen) to get my hubby to go too because we have a 55 that I would LOVE to change over to a 120+ , and well, my birthday IS in a week :D !

LadyFSU I have a couple MJ400s that you can have. They are not a lot, but hey they are free. Also I have a visi-jet protien skimmer that is the hang on the back kind if you need that you are welcome to have it as well. Hope your husband can make it too. It will be nice to meet him.

Mike - Sorry to hear you may not make it. We were hoping you could see the plumbing in person. It is really similar to yours! :)

We are really excited to have everyone coming over. We may be having a few people that we know that have reef tanks, but are not members on here (yet!) come by also. We will PM everyone that is coming Friday with our address and phone number.

Ladyfsu if you dont take something from reefer421 i will Gladly pick it up for my 10 gallon... im sick of this neptune and no skimmer lol thanks! pm me if theres somethin u dont need

REEFER - Thank you!!! Yes I really do need that stuff, playu. Hopefully in 1 more week all the student tanks will be up and running! Actually, I could use 5 times that much stuff for all the kids tanks.

.........It's past 1 and I"m not there!!!!!! .......grrrr My husband is out trying to find our puppy :( whose collar with name tag is sitting on our counter!!!!! If he's back in the next few minutes then I can get up there (30 min drive)! I smell bbq and frags..... :( Sorry Reefer :(

Don't worry... no one else made it either. There is plenty of food if you can make it. I am sorry to hear about the puppy. I know how upsetting it is to lose a puppy. :( If you want, I can meet you somewhere to get the pumps and stuff if you do not want to drive all the way here. Let me know...

Thanks for coming by Joshua. I hope you and your nephew enjoyed the tank. I wish your first meeting would have been a little more exciting, but you will see in the future; it is a great group of people.
