hook up your lights to a timer. your fish will be fine w/o food for a few days. if i cant feed them i try to get someone else to do it for me, or you could get an automatic feeder.

Yup algae clip for the tang, and don't worry about the rest of fish. Make sure you water level is also good.

Your fish will be just fine. I am out of town every other weekend. Sometimes I leave friday and dont get in til mon morning. So the little guys go almost 3 days with no food. I give them a little bit of a larger feeding before I leave and they are good to go. Algae clip is deff a good idea.

Tagging along...in end of september I will be out of the town for 3 days so if I need someone to feed my inhabitants please do let me know:

my inhabitants:
Clarks Clownfish
Ocellaris Clownfish, False
2 PJ Cardinalfishs
4 Green chormis
1 Scooter Blenny
1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
1 Peppermint Shrimp

So far I have in my mind is to give them a feast on last week before I leave ?

a feast is fine as long as the food is not wasted. this could cause an algae bloom while your gone!

Let's face it... when fish are collected and shipped, they go days without food. A few days over a weekend or even a long weekend without food isn't going to hurt them.

I agree they will be fine without food. Just pad you water level so that evaporation wont be an issue. My tank usually did about a gallon a day

I go out for the weekend too and evaporation scare me a bit... I replace 1 gallon a day in my 77gal and I leave for 3 days...What can I do for this?

fill it up before you leave

3 gallons of evaporation in a 77g will only increases your sg by about 0.001

ie if 1.024...it will be about 1.02479 when you get back

if 1.025....it will be about 1.02601

Pixie -- Overfill your tank by 3 gallons! Thats what I do.
