Petco Sale

I saw a bunch of posts in other parts of this forum as well as on some other forums about petco running the $1/gallon sale for their glass aquariums. Lots of folks were picking up Oceanic 30gal cubes for $30. That is just insane. I decided to try and get in on this and called just about every petco in the philly area... and they all said the same thing. We don't carry Oceanic. Has anyone else tried or had any luck with this. I will love to have a 30 cube but don't want to spend $150 for that tank.

Check the flyer. It only includes standard rectangle tanks up to 55 Gal.

Actually the flyer says "Excludes special or EZ orders, bowfronts, terrariums and boxed kits. In-stock items only". Like i said there were many people who were able to find and purchase the oceanic cubes.

I got 2-33gal Oceanic cube combos Tank, Light and glass lids 33 dollars a pc.,a 40 breeder 2-29's,2-20 longs, 2- 20 highs 1 dollar a gallon.Warminster and Feasterville,had them.Great deal on cubes lights are useless 15 watts but who cares.

Just an FYI everyone.

I went to Petsmart and haggled. They reluctantly did the price match for me on 30 gallon oceanic cube. I paid 30 dollars for a 100 dollar tank.

The Petco's near me didn't have the 30 cube they had 33 gl cubes a little taller which I didn't really want but couldn't pass on the price.The dim are 20.5LX18.5WX23.5H about 2 inches deeper.I'll be using one for Rose BTA and a pair of Clowns I got and the other for 2 pairs of sea horses.
