The 5 foot footprint is not as common as the 4 foot or 6 ft. My main tank is 100 gallon that is 5 foot wide but it is acrylic and not glass. Not sure if you are looking for glass or not. Not sure if I'd recommend acrylic since it does scratch more easily than glass.

Can't really suggest where to get them since I got mine used.

I got mine ordered through a local fish store.. it wasn't to high... I like it.. the only problem will be finding 5 foot long strip lights.. I had to use 2 3 foot light staggard

Any pics of your new tank. I've seen 60" lights available. They have the same ammount of wattage as the 48 inchers but they're just spread over 60".

I couldn't find any affordable 60 inch pixtures.. I wanted to get some pc lights but gave up after I saw the prices.
I had the 2 36 inch fixtures so I am using them.. they work fine.

I wouldn't mind upgrading to ho t5 lighting.. I have seen one or two fixtures in the 60 inch size of them but I am wondering the width of them. I'll take some pictures of the tank tonight.
I am working on a blog that covers total set up and everything.
It;s going slow I need to upload pictures to a better place... yahoo photos links don't work to well in forums for some reason.
