My LFS gave to me to revive it thinking it was pink Goniopora stutchburyi that wouldn't extend or open. I loved the coloration of pink, but I had doubts being goniopora species. After further examination and confirmation by John Kelly (goniopora.org) it's definitely not a goni, but some type of porite. What do you think goniopra or porite? Currently I have it placed on the bottom of my tank.

Thanks,

James

hmm, I would judge for yourself. See if there are any empty corallites and compare them to these:
