Thanks guys! Last time I counted there were 85-90 heads. My goals is to see how big I can grow it :)

Gorgeous boquet! Whoever shipped that did an exceptional job for that size. Looked great for coming out of a shipping bag, nice healthy meaty encrusted tips. Thanks for sharing:)

I aquired this piece through a fellow reefer in San Diego. He had a 180 gal reef that he had running for 3 years. He was re-modling his house and as a trade off for some landscape design work one of my family members was doing for him, I scored his tank and all its contents!! Only thing was that I live in LA and I had to pick up the tank within 2 weeks.

The move was really succesful. I did not lose one coral. This has been my second time moving a completely stocked tank. It adds a whole other level of stress on top of just moving the tank itself...

The tank actually ended up having a leaking overflow so, it was a nightmare... Anyhow, I packed the coral myself along with the remainder of the contents of the tank and drove back to LA :)

He mentioned I could frag some heads and make a few bucks. Iwas like are you NUTS! A colony of this size is a rare thing in captivity. My goal is to see how big I can grow it! Same goes for the clams although they are taking up PRIME realistate in my tank.

I'll post some additional pics when I get a chance. This thing is actually swelling up much much larger now that it is established!

Happy Reefing!

I had one that grew from about five heads to that size in four years. It took up most of the left side of my 90. I traded it to the LFS who sold it to a guy with a 300. Very nice score!

Here's a not so good pic. It was retracted some because I started adding flow for the SPS in the tank and it didn't like it too much.

that thing is nice but I saw one in a petstore in Denver that took up all the room in a 110 gal. I mean all the room. I can't believe I didn't get a picture it was amazing. The owner said it was over 15 years old. She actually had to frag it because she couldn't clean the glass. This was like 5 years before I saw it. It was very impressive.
