Here is an old pic about a year and a half...to show some growth

http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/22069tank3.jpg
Yes that little twig just off of the monti plate is now the giant stag in the above photohttp://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f397/frank2926/DSC00989.jpg

The old pink looking photo was with xm 10k bulbs the recent photo is with ushio 10ks neither is as dramatic as this crappy camera makes them look but the pink and blue tint are slightly visible with the naked eye. I did get a little better growth with the xms but the ushios really make the colors pop and are not as blue as the camera makes them look.

thanks
I scrape it off weekly.
I use a large razor scrapper from home cheapo. the handle and a pack of a dozen blades comes to about 8 bucks. I just throw the blade out after each use. really makes it easy

Great pics! The growth represented is what we all strive for, at least I do.
The razor blades with handle come in 10-packs, not 12 LOL(I could use the extra 2)
Good looking scoly, too.

Frank's tank is the nicest I have ever seen in person. Hey Frank, is that the green cap you got from me in the upper right hand corner?

I think I got a purple rim capp from you correct?
if so here it is. its on the upper left side of my tank. that is another green cap, it is not purple rimmed though. The purple rim is really looking good. That blue monti was looking great . I started it low and slowley raised up close to the lights and right when it started to really look great it fell off the back top of my rocks . now its in the great frag cemetery that is in the back bottom of my tank.http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f397/frank2926/DSC01010.jpg
