I am considering 120G LPS and softy setup and looking for lighting recommendation.

I am considering either:

1) 4x54Watt ICECAP tek individual reflector T5
2) 2 x 175Watt SE 14K MH

What do you recommend? Which will have less heating issues? What light will be good with LPS and softy?
Thanks

I would suggest looking at a Catalina lights also. Maybe move up to a 6-8 bulb unit

I was looking in to them, how are their lights? Do you like them?

I got the 36" retrofit. Overall quality is good. I feel they are by far the best bang for the buck.I got the 8 bulb setup, with 6 10K and 2 Actinic. I really wanted the par. Now things have changed considerably in the way I'm using it and I really wish I had gotten 5 actinics and 3 10K's. I am currently running 4 actinics and 2 Gieseman 11Ks and 2 10ks. If you go with Catalina and you are getting the moon lights pm me, I have a suggestion.

The bulbs they use are the Current Bulbs and I am not saying they are crap, but the 10ks look very yellow.

Thanks for reply. I think i will stick with 4x54Watt ICECAP tek individual reflector T5 fixture. Seems like many people are happy with them. Thanks for your suggetions though.
