Every thing is ok in my tank speaking of parameters, water, sal, nitrate etc......i have lots of brown algae. I am using red slime powder but it's not working anymore. Any ideas how i Can get rid of the brown algae?

I have snails that wiped out all the brown algae from my rocks and overflow but ur too far (from Florida)

I agree with GET SNAILS which also worked for me. BUT - I would stop using the powder and give more details about your tank...
What type of set up do you have - lighting, sand, live rock, fish, how long has it been set up, light schedule, feeding schedule/how much, etc...
what is your OK parameters?

How long are you leaving your lights on and how old are the bulbs???
depends on what kind of brown algea.
diatoms
or
brown slime
theres allot too it here.
how long has the tank been up?
is it fish only?
is the substrate new?
whats alk levels?
whats ca levels?
whats phosphate level?
do you use ro/di water for changes?
you may not need to get into detail but we do need to know more to help you.
