i just had the one that you get at homedepot but now i lost it..

which light was it again?? i remember it was something like a PC 6500k but im not exactly sure.. can someone help?? thanks

im using a standard 100w incandescant on mine, in one of those cheap metal utility light housings.

Grows chaeto like a champ

Lights of America outdoor PC fixture 6500k bulb, They are now available in 65, 85, and 100 watt output.

Just watch the heat on these suckers. There are a number of threads here on RC about modding them to reduce the heat load that the housing creates. :)

does it matter which wattage i get or can i just get the 65 and be good

Depends on the depth of your tank, how deep is it?

Currently I'm using a 65 watt over a ten gallon tank with good results, the tank is 10 inches deep, and I have a 85 watt over a 35 gal, about 15 inches deep.

just 10 inches deep so i should be set with the 65
