hey -
Can a BTA live under a 70w 6500k bulb? I have this in my prop tank and colt corals can survive under the lights.
I have a small clown in there and wanted a small BTA for him
Thanks :)

I probably wouldn't try it. That's pretty dim. How big is the tank?

Id make sure to step up direct feedings if you tried it

its a 7g sump/fuge in a 20g tank the footprint is 10x12x12.
1.5" fiji mud 1.5" live sand. Like I said colts do fine. And I direct feed all corals and inverts that require it :)

That is too small for a BTA, in my opinion, and likely too dim. They grow to be a foot across, and can eat a lot. I'd wait for a larger tank with better lighting.
