sexy shrimp

dose anyone think a sexy shrimp is to small for a 75g, i seen kermets had 3 & i would love to get one, i was told that my banded slepper may eat it, shoud i pass on this shrimp or bring it home, i want it to be safe,

You Should be ok, what other fish do you have?, they need Corals to hide in I have also heard they do best in 3.

i have 2 clowns, 1 blenny, banded sleeper, 1 royal gram, 1 blood shrimp & a scopas tang. i have soft corals, & what do you mean in 3 i need 3 of them?

Sexy shrimp are fine in any tank...no one said that you have to put only large fish or crustaceans in a large tank. It's neat to put small stuff in a large tank because more little things catch people's eyes when they look at your tank. I had 2 sexy shrimp in my 75gal and it worked out great. Blindside said they work best in 3 meaning most people say that they like to be in a social group of 2 or 3 instead of singly by themselves. For a 75 gallon, I would personally buy 2 or 3 of them..they will end up finding each other quick and doing their dance together all the time.

I'm not sure about your large fish eating it though???? I'll let someone else speak on that.

Teena, we didn't say it would eat it. Just that we didn't know. My guess is no, but would still be wary of anything that could fit one in their mouth.

no someone on RC said there golby got his shrimp, i was asking if you ever heard of that happening, if if just one person then maby im ok but if its happend to most i would not risk his life, but so far hes the only one i herd this from, i hope i can get two of them befor you sell them all, i would like to get them next week, i just did a water change saturday ill let the water settle a little, the same person said the ph has to be right on the mark, not low, & mine is holding @ 8.0 im useing buffer now but its not going up, is the ph a big thing for them also?

What species of clownfish do you have? The only fish I would be worried about are the clowns (depending on species) and the royal gramma.

i think ss will be fine teena. i kept 2 on my 55 with wrasse, tang, goby and 2 clarkii's and variety of shrimp's. they move fast.

Percs should not be a problem with sexy shrimp.

Teena, I have 3 in my 12 gal with 2 percs. They love the rock anemone and one loves to get his exercise on top of the oscillator from my powerhead. He walks around and around. They are really comical. I have had mine for several months now.
